Sound of Hope is an exciting and attractive Schools project that aims to bring young people together in song through the means of a choir. Sound of Hope will have its own repertoire of songs which will combine faith and music bringing a Christian Message and dealing with the complex issues our children face today. The project will go into primary schools leading assemblies, lessons, workshops and activities and teaching the children the songs to be able to perform back to the parents and the school at a final concert in the local Church. The sound of young voices will bring your school alive as they unite together in song with the aim of bringing hope to all.
Sound of Hope is a singing, performing, and resourcing project that helps children and families engage in the Christian message through music at school, home, and church. Sound of Hope songs are based on Christian values where children are encouraged to discover their worth and that of others. It engages children and their families and allows schools to collaborate with the local community.
Each assembly, lesson, workshop and activity will run alongside topics covered in the National Curriculum. This includes Religious Education, Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) and Music to guide young people to look at the pressures they face in today’s society and promote discussions around these issues, equipping and encouraging young people to think about the lifestyle choices they make, and how a person’s beliefs impact the way they live their lives.

What People Are Saying
"The children at South Petherwin School have thoroughly enjoyed their time working with the Pulse bus and Oriel Ministries team. The team delivered an inspired assembly which engaged the children at a spiritual, cultural, moral and social level - it was fun, interactive and enlightening. The team also supported our school community with the Pulse Bus, which gave them a youth club where they could have a safe space to socialise, have fun and explore important moral issues. So grateful for their time with our children. We would love to see Sound of Hope in the school."

“The Fearless Tour of Primary Schools went down a storm! Have you ever been in a school assembly where the whole place is rocking? Well, neither had I before the Fearless Tour! And all with a memorable message on how young people can keep themselves safe. I have never had so much fun in a police uniform.”
